Today, mom made me watch this movie "Mayuri"
masthundi undi asal...
I felt why my friend Mr. H dint get a nice prosthetic like hers🤨
The heroine in the movie has got her amputated similar to that of Mr.H
Her dream was to become a great classical dancer
She gets a nice Jaipur prosthetic (that too in those days) below knee leg which has the provision to tilt the foot about the ankle
Initially, she used to so hard to even walk with that prosthetic... she bleeds... Yet she doesn't give up
tries hard and finally becomes so comfortable with that leg that she wins a national award for her dance performance
and its a real life story of a woman named Mayuri...
I noticed the same pain in Mr. H while walking...
And with that weight he gained, it pains even more...
At one point time, in the starting, he might have given up walking due to that pain
and he never thought of overcoming it.
I too have one such experience...
Back when I was in 9th class I watched a Chinese martial arts movie titled True Legend... in that a great warrior loses his strength, muscles, fighting skills, sharpness etc when an enemy injects a fatal venom in to his nerves...
The enemy takes Hero's child with him and challenges him to come back and take your son...
That legend who once used to punch pebbles into powder now struggles to hold a spoon to have food...
Eventually, he becomes completely demotivated, accepts his defeat and keeps worrying... with that he goes out of his mind
His wife takes him near and motivates him to a strong person where trains himself and becomes a much more stronger, faster than he used to be in the past... He makes his fist so strong that he could punch a wall and cause indentations to it...
I had a small thought of making my fist like him🤨 Training my fist to be able to punch anything without having to think about the impact n pain it causes to me...
I started punching softer materials 1st... It was too easy... Next I went on to punch walls... it was hard... The every time I tend to punch, I used to worry about the pain it causes after impact... I used to beat slowly n trained my fist to get used to lite impacts...
I kept punching walls from then... In the starting I got wounds on my knuckles... eroded skin layers... Mini minute fractures, which eventually got cured themselves... I made fingers rest and but I dint care...
Where everyone punches a punch bag or boxing bag... I used to punch walls and other hard surfaces...
It continued for several years... whenever I see a wall or any other surface, I used to use my fist to see how hard it is😂
I continued for 5-6 years till I undergone a heart surgery... I had the interest to punch the wall, but it used to create an impact on my breast bone where I had a hard incision coz of surgery...This phase unknowingly made my iron fist to rest for more than a year...
What I thought to convey is...
Pain or whatever it is... it is just an excuse.
If it really matters, you will.
It is all about how badly you want it.
If you want it seriously, you will get it.
